Our Experience: Call one of our Senior Solar Consultants to find out how your commercial project may qualify for incentives including state and local rebates, federal tax credits or tax grants, MACRS 5yr accellerated depreciation, Renewable Energy Credits, LEED Green Building points and discounted utility rates. - The Shops at Mission Viejo, 173kW Solar Electric System Blue Oak Energy was the design firm for a 173kW rooftop system at the Shops at Mission Viejo, a major retail center in Orange County. Blue Oak Energy concentrated its efforts and was able to procure a permit in one week and Valley Center Solar’s Team (Formerly part of Clean Power Systems) finished construction and commissioning within a month. With limited space and options for locating electrical equipment, carefully planned solutions were required for inverter placement and AC conduit routing. The result was a string-monitored system delivered in time for the holidays. Valley Center Solar’s Team partnered with Blue Oak as the General Contractor for this project and was responsible for all construction activities on this project. - REI San Carlos, 100kW Solar Electric System REI’s San Carlos location, in the southern Bay Area, now benefits from a new 100kW photovoltaic system designed by Blue Oak Energy. This site presented several design challenges, including the requirements of the local Fire Marshall. An elegant solution was devised that allows for accessibility by fire and maintenance personnel to the rooftop. Again Valley Center Solar’s Team partnered with Blue Oak as the General Contractor for this project and was responsible for all construction activities on this project. - REI San Diego, 100kW Solar Electric System San Diego has hot, dry weather, ideal for solar electric systems. The REI store in San Diego is benefitting from the sunny climate, as we recently installed a nearly 100kw system on its rooftop. This practical and robust PV system offsets approximately 40% of the store’s electricity demand. Valley Center Solar’s Team again partnered with Blue Oak as the General Contractor for this project and was responsible for all construction activities on this project. - Lake Turner A 1 Megawatt AC, 7 acre Single Axis Tracker system designed by World Water for the Valley Center Municipal Water District and Solar Power Partners (SPP). Valley Center Solar’s Team (Formerly part of Clean Power Systems) was awarded the contract as General Contractor for the Lake Turner Project and was responsible for all construction activities except the Civil and Earth work. Clean Power completed the build on this project in a short build out window of 90 days. ($8,000,000+ Total Project Cost). - St. Mary Medical Center |
